American Heritage Girls

American Heritage Girls has been building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country since 1995.

The founder of AHG, Patty Garibay, graduated from McAuley High School here in Cincinnati and the corporate headquarters of AHG is in Fairfield, OH. In June of 2009, AHG and the Boy Scouts of America officially partnered together. AHG provides a Christ-centered character and leadership development program for girls across the nation. There are currently 450 troops in 45 states and over 19,000 members.

Members, ages 5-18, learn life skills through a multi-level badge program, develop teamwork and confidence through outdoor activities, provide consistent service to the community, and develop socially and spiritually through regular troop meetings.

Our troop OH3712 here at Saint Ignatius meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays after school (September through May) in the Hilvert Center. We learn new skills, grow in faith, serve the community, build friendships, strengthen character and have fun!

The troop has an annual Family Picnic, Bowling and Camping events. There are also Father/Daughter and Mother/Daughter events with other area Troops. Our year ends in May with a weekend Camporee and then the Award Ceremony at the end of May.

If you have any questions, please ask a Board Member or see www.ahgonline.org.

The girls also have opportunities for Summer Camps.  We hope you join us!
