Cub Scouts
Cub Scouts
Cub Scouts offers young boys and girls an opportunity to strengthen their Catholic faith, grow in character, develop lifelong skills, and experience the joy of learning through adventure. Rooted in the virtues of the Scout Law – A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent – Cub Scouts encourages each child to pursue a well-ordered life shaped by moral discipline and personal responsibility. Through engaging activities, hands-on challenges, and service to others, Scouts learn that daily choices form lifelong habits that foster well-ordered lives.
The mission of Scouting America is “to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.” At St. Ignatius Parish, Cub Scouts provides a meaningful extension of these ideals, helping young students grow in confidence, leadership, and integrity as they learn to order their lives toward what is true, good, and noble.
Cub Scouts is for boys and girls, ages 5 – 11. To learn more about Cub Scouts, please visit www.pack850.com or email us at st.ipack850@gmail.com.
