American Heritage Girls (AHG) at St. Ignatius has been building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country since 2006. AHG provides a Christ-centered character and leadership development ministry for girls across the nation.
Girls ages 5-18, learn life skills through a multi-level badge program, develop teamwork and confidence through outdoor activities, provide consistent service to the community, and develop socially and spiritually through regular troop meetings and faith-based activities.
Our troop OH3712 here at Saint Ignatius meets on Tuesdays after school (September through May). We learn new skills, grow in faith, serve the community, build friendships, strengthen character and have a ton of fun!
The troop also plans a Christmas party, May Crowning service, mother-daughter, father-daughter, and family events. Additionally, there is a fall camp for girls in fourth grade and up, and all girls may have the opportunity to attend the spring camporee. Our year ends in May with Court of Awards.
To find out more about AHG at St. Ignatius and how we can help your daughter become a woman of integrity, please email us at ahg@sainti.org.
There are currently 1,300 troops in all 50 states and over 70,000 members, as well as members in several countries. Patty Garibay, a McAuley High School graduate, founded the national organization in 1995, and the corporate headquarters of AHG is in Fairfield, OH.
