Then after those confusing teen years, you began to face life equipped only with an understanding of Jesus and the Church based on those early learning years. As an adult, you now face life’s challenges, experiences, situations, and encounters with a secular society that you likely find difficult to integrate with the teachings of the Catholic Church. Additionally, your spiritual growth has been hindered by applying immature theological understandings to complexities and questions of modern living. And amidst all this, the Church is calling you to evangelize in your family, your workplace, and social circles! How is such a task possible?

It is possible, and can become a reality! Through current information on all faith topics covered in a book titled Why We’re Catholic, we tackle the teachings of the Church, and the questions that arise, over six Wednesday evening sessions that last about 90 minutes each. The book is free, and your input is encouraged, as we discuss topics like contraception, annulments, indulgences, and same sex marriage.

Read what some recent participants had to say about Why We’re Catholic:

“I learned a lot about how to respond to the “Why be Catholic ” type questions but I valued even more the weekly discussion with fellow Catholics to see their different points of view, the challenges they face, and the exchange of ideas on how to overcome them.”
– Bob Rowekamp

“As a cradle Catholic, I fell away from Catholicism in my late teens and returned in my late 20s. My faith is now stronger than ever, and I have the desire to share the good news with friends and family that are away from the Church. I joined Deacon Tony’s class to gain support, knowledge and verbiage to answer questions and hopefully bring a few people back to the faith.
