St. Ignatius School has a full-time nurse on staff during school hours. Kathy Reder, RN, BSN, can be reached at (513) 389-3242 ext. 2002 or by email<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Immunizations:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. Ignatius follows the Ohio Department of Health laws and recommendations for school attendance in regards to immunization and illness. All children attending St. Ignatius School must have a current immunization record on file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Illness:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. Ignatius follows the guidelines recommended by the Ohio Department of Health for keeping sick children home from school.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Respiratory Illness Guidelines:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Respiratory illnesses are on the rise as we move into the fall and winter.  We are following the CDC recommendations for respiratory illness.  There are no specific COVID or FLU protocols. However, people with respiratory illness need to stay home when sick and follow guidelines on preventing the spread to others. This link from the CDC below makes it very simple to understand.
Basically if you have no fever for 24 hours and your symptoms have improved,  you may return to work and school, but need to take precautions around others for the next 5 days.
Please do your part in keeping sick students home when sick and using precautions around others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
